Erik Hoffman
Talent Buyer and Technical Producer
Erik Hoffman's professional music industry experience began when
he was just 16, working as a sound technician at various Ottawa
clubs including the landmark Barrymores Music Hall. Over the past
12 years he has worked as tour manager for big name Canadian acts
such as Sam Roberts, Kathleen Edwards, Sarah Harmer, David Usher
and the Just for Laughs Comedy Tours.
Erik launched PRS Concerts three years ago and his company has
become the local authority when it comes to bringing National and
International acts to Ottawa. PRS has promoted numerous international
acts including Billy Bragg, MxPx, John Mayer, Beth Orton, Eve 6,
Jimmy Eat World, The Proclaimers, Tool, Guided By Voices, among
others, as well as National treasures: Holly McNarland, the Headstones,
Hayden, Remy Shand, Treble Charger, Blue Rodeo, Tegan and Sara,
Simple Plan, the New Deal, Sarah Slean, Jarvis Church, Danko Jones,
Bif Naked, Sloan, Swollen Members and the list goes on. In 2003,
PRS concerts produced JUNOfest a JUNO Weekend showcase of over 70
bands at 12 national capital venues.
Erik's involvement with Knock on Wood projects allows the firm
to provide unparalleled service for entertainment events from inception
through execution including all aspects of programming, production,
promotion and publicity.
