Since joining Knock on Wood in 2004 Whitney has managed marketing, public relations and event projects for clients such as Go Travel Direct and Zoom Airlines, Live Nation Theatrical, Air Show Ottawa, Signatures and Originals Craft Shows, Ottawa Home & Garden Show, EQ3, Domicile and Forest Products of Canada. She has also provided marketing and PR services to Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Art Event, Ottawa Humane Society Wiggle Waggle Walk-A Thon, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest and Ottawa Dragonboat Race Festival. Whitney also lends her personal time to SimplyRaw, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people enrich their health and well-being by integrating simple, natural-based guidelines into their current lifestyles.

Whitney's previous work experience was predominantly in the foodservice and hospitality industry where she worked with many of the best and well established restaurants and caterers in Ottawa and Vancouver. She has also provided freelance writing services to several local publications including The Ottawa Citizen, Food and Leisure Magazine and various community papers.
